Calliope Creative is officially hosting our Grand Opening Weekend in downtown Walla Walla, and along with that celebration are some very exciting updates to our studio rentals, Set of the Month, Headshot Wednesdays, and gallery hours.

There is a lot happening in April, and it is all very intentional.
GRAND OPENING WEEKEND
April 2nd through April 4th at Calliope Creative
Calliope Creative is celebrating our official ribbon cutting on Thursday, April 2nd at 4:30pm, followed by an artist reception until 7pm featuring the work of Nick Page.
Nick is an award winning landscape photographer whose workshops and speaking engagements take him across the globe. His work is powerful, emotional, and deeply intentional. He will be present during the reception to talk about his process, prints, and the stories behind his images.
Then on Friday, April 3rd, we are welcoming guest instructor Art Fernandez for a two hour workshop called Seeing in Monochrome.
This workshop introduces photographers to seeing, exposing, and composing in black and white. Participants will immediately put the concepts into practice inside the Calliope studio or on a downtown Walla Walla photo walk, weather permitting.
This class is open to both camera users and phone photographers.

On Saturday, April 4th, from 11am to 5pm, we will host our first official Gallery Day, showcasing Nick Page’s landscape photography including never before seen prints.
If you love landscape photography, fine art prints, or simply want to celebrate creative community in Walla Walla, this weekend is for you.
Set of the Month Is Changing
Starting in April, the Set of the Month at Calliope Creative will be available for one full week each month only.
Monday through Friday
9am to 7pm
That limited run allows the set to stay fully built without needing to be torn down between rentals, gallery hours, and classes.
What does that mean?
Bigger builds.
More immersive design.
More creative freedom.
More collaboration with local artists.
Each Set of the Month is created by a local artist, and the focused schedule allows us to dream bigger and build something truly special.
For photographers in Walla Walla looking to host seasonal mini sessions, the Set of the Month offers a unique and high impact experience for your clients.
Set of the Month rentals include:
• The full designed set
• Two constant lights including key and hair light
• $75 per hour
An additional $20 per hour goes directly to the artist who created the set. Fair pay for artists is foundational at Calliope Creative.
Studio Rental Hours Are Expanding
Beginning in April, Calliope Creative studio rentals will be available:
Tuesday through Friday
9am to 7pm
Saturdays
8am to 10am
6pm to 7pm
Classic studio rentals include:
• One constant light setup
• One seamless paper backdrop
• Choice of white, grey, black, or latte
• Access to matte black slat wall
Rate: $55 per hour
This is perfect for portraits, branding sessions, creative shoots, and portfolio building.

Headshot Wednesdays Are Evolving
Headshot Wednesdays are becoming more streamlined and intentional.
Beginning in April:
• 20 minute sessions
• Classic headshot only
• Choice of white, grey, black, or latte backdrop
• 5 final images
• Each delivered in color and black and white
• Full print release included
Investment: $200
These sessions are designed for business owners, creatives, and professionals who need polished, timeless headshots without a full branding production.
Saturdays Become Gallery Mode
From 11am to 5pm on Saturdays, the studio will shift into Gallery Mode featuring Nick Page Photography.
Nick will be present to discuss landscape photography, composition, light, and the process behind his prints.
If you are interested in landscape photography education, fine art photography, or collecting prints, this is a space to connect.
